A local school was after Bird Hides for an environmental project.  Shown in two different sizes, 1.200 x 1.200 and 1.800 x 1.800, made to the Head Teachers specification with a little help from the children of course!  We tweaked the spec and came up with these raised platforms set into the boggy ground using huge Iroko hardwood timber posts.  Windows were positioned at three different sizes to accomodate both children and adults.  Safety conscience we used laminated glass, protective door finger strips and additional fixed handrails to stairs. 

The staff and children were absolutely delighted with the finished product.  They have had nature days and have had a local bird watcher along to teach and guide the children.
