Our foreman, John Gowland

John Potts sheds was established in 1979 by John Potts. Based near Newcastle, Tyne and Wear we supply throughout the region. Our initial aim was to manufacture and sell fencing panels and sheds but as the years progressed we have diversified into other areas and now sell a range of garden products from playhouses to fencing panels.

We have a large manufacturing facility based in North Tyneside and can build sheds to order or supply from our stock of ready made. Our products are in high demand so we keep a stock of pre-fabricated sheds ready to ensure our customers the widest selection possible at any time of the year.

We have a full on site installation service available and under normal circumstances erect a shed in the space of an afternoon. Our installation staff are friendly and well trained and will ensure that the shed we erect in your garden looks as good as the one in our show room.

Attention to detail and the use of quality materials in the production of our sheds ensures that our work is of the highest standard. Our long term objective is to continually improve on the quality of products we supply and the service that we offer our customers.

OUR TEAM

John Potts (19.jpg)The Captain - John Potts

Pictured here showing one of our joiners how to check quality of the timber, in a professional manner as always.

One has definately got his eye on the ball, one wrong pass and your on the bench, once you've made one of course.

Overseeing his team morning, noon and night, preparing team talks, tactics and financial planning is all in a days work.

John Gowland (18.jpg)

Factory Foreman - John Gowland

Despite what this image leads you to believe, he is one mean defender, no one questions his workshop.

He has to constantly keep ahead of the game, ducking and diving until he reaches the goal and scores everytime.  His workshop is run to precision, no slacking or time wasters on his pitch.

Geoff High (20.jpg)Yard Foreman - Geoff High

Watching over the game from above, he analyses the whole situation before confidently going in for the tackle.

Nothing goes in or out of his yard without a ticket, whether its a board or a bolt, this scowl means business.  No board or rail left unturned or untidy, nothing but perfection is enough for this winger.

James Kent (21.jpg)Contract Manager - James Kent

As a team player he's right back there in goal, all alone in his department but will not let anybody through that steel facade of his.

Bollards, barriers, razor wire you name it he has everything to stop anyone or anything getting into his net.

The Players

Davey Crawford (22.jpg)

Davey Crawford

Davey takes place as a centre on the team, as an all rounder he jumps into any position and gives it his best shot which is always spot on target.

Hes got the ability, the focus and every tool in the book to take this team to the premiership.

Dave O'Brien (23.jpg)Dave O'Brien

Unusual to get a photo of this little mover, it looks like he doesn't even know we were there, you can see the focus and determination in his face, a mission on the go.

No gate or door sticks when this kids got this chisels out.  Show him a pile of firewood any day, turn around to find him swinging on a gate.

Mark Burr (24.jpg)Mark Burr

Don't let this action shot fool you, his forte is not with a drill, he has been in almost every position within the team but eventually found his strongest spot, defender, first point of attack whether its on the phone or face to face this salesman has the knowledge and gift of the gab to turn an off side into a penalty shoot out.

Russell Thompson (25.jpg)Russell Thompson

Slippery when wet, this player has got you well and truly covered, from undercoat to overall there is no spot uncovered!

No extra time required for his brush strokes.

Dejan Sijakovic (26.jpg)Dejan Sijakovic

One word describes this fella - grounded, he's firmly fixed to the floor.

Behind this 6ft6" huge exterior this defender will plant and sow to add a bit of spice to the team.

Joe Clennell (27.jpg)Joe Clennell

Super speedy striker, with his go faster stripes Joe can cover miles and miles in one match.

Look and learn, the attitude of this player has the wheely sweet smell of success.

Paul Nichol (30.jpg)Paul Nichol

This silver striker will take on just about anything or anyone for that matter, he thinks hes still 21 and to be fair he can keep up with all the team.

Worked in sales and timber following a commendable career in "the service" Paul is inspiration to us all.

Gary Potts (29.jpg)

Gary Potts

Gary keeps his tactics close to his chest whether hes overlapping or interweaving his opposition, either way his firing is never off centre.

Adam (28.jpg)Adam Skrzypek

This stern player is coy but confident, quiet and quick, and has no hesitation about playing home or away games, has a limit to about 1,200 miles.

Marcin (Marcin.jpg)

Marcin Skrzypek

The baby of the team so you would expect him to be the most agile.... he's a quick learner and following in his brothers footsteps, Kazimierz.

Jennifer (Jennifer.jpg)Jennifer Beaton

A lady on the team always keeps the men in check, she gets the respect she deserves, either that or she docks them with a red card and no weekly bonus for you!
